Happy Mental Health Monday and MLK Day, CHOW Community! Here’s to another great week ahead, full of wellness, discovery, support and community.

As we reflect on Dr. King’s role in the fight against racial inequality, we honor his memory by sharing this sermon with you. The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is an official day of service and celebrates the civil rights leader’s life and legacy.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a defining moment each year when Americans across the country step up to make our communities more equitable and take action.

How will you celebrate and take action today?

All of our IN PERSON locations are currently hosting HYBRID meetings!

This means that you can join in on ANY CHOW meeting you like, from the comfort of your home.

What can you expect from a CHOW meeting?

  • They have been described as a “post shift hang out without the drinks”!
  • They typically last 60 minutes
  • They are attended by a Peer Support Specialist who can offer extra support for anyone who needs it!
  • They start with an ice breaker (these are super fun, I promise!)
  • The ice breaker leads into a conversational topic
  • Sharing or speaking up is NOT MANDATORY – you can join in and just listen to test the waters!
  • Sobriety is NOT REQUIRED – show up how you are, wherever you are in your journey!
  • CHOW meetings are open to all and all are welcome!
