February & March Fireside Chat / Celebrating Black Culture
As we stay attuned to the seasons, we observe that many of us are feeling especially stretched this time of year. In order to tend to the presenters’ wellbeing, we will pause on Fireside Chat in February. Instead, our team will focus on celebrating and amplifying in Black History Month.
We will return on Thursday 3/31 for a BI&POC wellness event – please pencil it in your calendar and stay tuned for details in coming weeks.

How to manage and regulate your emotions

Tips for tolerating big feelings so they don’t overtake you.
About this event
Sometimes we can feel like our emotions are so big that they get the best of us. Feelings can be so much that we start to feel like they are ruling us and we can’t get a handle on them. We also might feel like we have to control our emotions, which adds a lot of pressure and unfair expectation into the mix.
Join us for a live Q&A in which licensed therapist Pallavi Yetur will answer your questions about managing and regulating your emotions.
Questions include:
- Why do I have such a hard time regulating feelings?
- How do I stop myself from reacting negatively?
- How can I get a handle on my emotions so I can move forward?
