Breck CRA and ServSafe
Breckenridge Chapter Sponsoring ServSafe Food Protection Manager Class on June 28
The Breckenridge Chapter of the CRA is sponsoring a ServeSafe Food Protection Manager class on Tuesday, June 28, at Salt Creek Steakhouse (110 East Lincoln Ave., Breckenridge) — and are covering the cost of the class for CRA members! This ServSafe course, which focuses on foodborne illness, how to prevent it, and how to train employees in food sanitation, helps your staff members earn a nationally accredited food safety certification from the National Restaurant Association.
Remember: Effective in 2019, the Colorado Food Code requires that at least one manager or supervisor with the authority to direct and control food preparation to be Certified as a Food Protection Manager. ServSafe Food Protection Manager classes not only fulfill this requirement, but also benefit the CRA and the important work we do to support our hospitality industry. Get your team trained today!
The full class, which goes from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., regularly costs $140 per person for CRA Members. Thanks to the Breckenridge Chapter:
- CRA Members pay $78 per person for the class and study book.
- Non-Members can also attend, paying $180 for the class and study book
Click on the link below to register, no later than June 7.
NOTE: this class requires studying ahead of time. Books will be mailed to you and must be read prior to the class. Participants must also bring their book to the class.
