Are you going to rock out with us on September 8th to support a good cause?

CHOW has partnered with Levitt Pavilion on Thursday, September 8th to provide a VIP experience at the Rebirth Brass Band concert! 

At the concert our VIP experience will include:

👀 Front row viewing and early access to the venue

🧺 Individually crafted provisions for a charcuterie and cheese picnic

🥂 Two (2) drink tickets

🍹 Creative craft mocktail from a Denver mixologist

💺 A variety of seating options

🌭 Fancy dogs from Urban Hotdog Collective, including veggie options

Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards CHOW’s work which provides mental health resources and support to the hospitality industry.

What: Yoga + Bubbles

When: Tuesday, September 6, 10 a.m. – noon

Where: Wynkoop Brewing Company, 1634 18th St., Denver

Cost: FREE! Employees can register here using promo code WELLNESS (the ticket is hidden until you add WELLNESS to the Apply Access Code field near the bottom of the page)

  • The yoga session will be led by Anthony Chavez of Upswell Dynamic Wellness
  • Sparkling wine and N/A drinks will be provided at no additional cost by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits
  • Fiji Water and beverages from Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company will also be provided
  • Wynkoop will provide light bites
  • Healthy Hospitality will be on hand with information about how you can support and enhance your mental health and wellness needs

McLean Webinar: Gender Differences in Mental Health

Mental health conditions impact all genders—but how they present may differ. In addition, strong sociocultural forces—like the saying “boys don’t cry”—can impact social and emotional development in kids.

In a recent webinar, Roberto Olivardia, PhD, discussed the impacts of stereotyping on mental health, highlighted differences in presentation of mental illnesses among genders, and answered audience questions on how to be supportive of kids and their mental health.
