Join us for an event to celebrate and create community around the food/beverage/hospitality industry.

This free event will feature health and wellness activities, substance use recovery and mental health tools, and of course some fun!

CHOW IN THE PARK will feature various opportunities to invest in your wellness: industry specific workouts, mobility exercises, massages, outdoor activities, educational panels, food, drinks and more! .

Our intention is to bring industry leaders, restaurant ambassadors and community members together to connect and support one another.

Come join us:

Denver Hospitality Industry – come join us!

Denver food/beverage/hospitality community – COME JOIN US!

For our restaurant community, we are inviting you to use Sept 11th as your Restaurant Wellness Day.

Each participating restaurant or restaurant group can set up a 10×10 tent and invite your staff to join you for a day of fun alongside CHOW!

As an extra incentive, the first ten businesses to register for this free event will receive a gift of our Amuse’ Mental Health Course for their staff, priced at 1200$.

This course offers tangible evidenced based skills that everyone can use for themselves or to support a coworker/friend.

These four hours of training are meant to shine light on some of the most pressing issues affecting workplace wellness. Created for the hospitality industry BY industry peers, this course offers an overview of mental health, wellness and substance use recovery, complemented by resources, applicable skills, and thought provoking conversations.

You will also have the opportunity to align your business as an employer who focuses on your team’s health and wellness to the greater community.

If you’re interested in joining us please reach out to Lara Smedley, our event coordinator, at lara@smedleyevents.com or Erin Boyle, our CHOW CEO, at erin@chowco.org).

This Boulder Farm Dinner on August 26 Is Also a Fundraiser for Local BIPOC Farmers

Farm dinners are a great way to enjoy some of the best local seasonal produce, break bread with friends and create wholesome summertime memories. On August 26, an impressive assemblage of chefs and farmers will join forces in Boulder to celebrate the local Slow Food chapter while also highlighting diversity in food and agriculture.

With produce and meat raised by a skilled Lebanese farmer, food prepared by an acclaimed Gambian chef and desserts crafted by a well-traveled pastry chef, this four-course farm dinner is sure to be a memorable evening. The event starts at 4 p.m. at Jacob Springs Farm (7602 Arapahoe Road in Boulder) and includes zero-proof beverages. Tickets, $95, are available online. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit local African American farmers; you can also make a donation without purchasing a ticket through the same link.
