Les Dames d’Escoffier Colorado Chapter Seeking Industry Nominations
|The Colorado chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier is a collective of forward-thinking and successful female leaders in the food, beverage, hospitality, nutrition, and agricultural fields, whose mission is to support education and philanthropy in our industry through scholarships and community events. The chapter is holding open nominations for the awards element of its biggest annual scholarship fundraiser, the Big Stir Festival, which will take place in April 2024. The Big Stir awards shine a light on female leaders across Colorado, in categories including agriculture, alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, chef, food retail, and more. Join us for the COVID Grief Gathering: drop-in sessions on the second Tuesday of the month, offering peer-led group support for all those grieving COVID loss.
Hosted every second Tuesday of the month, the Reimagine community opens its arms to those navigating COVID-related losses. Facilitated by volunteers, these peer-led, drop-in gatherings are for you, whether you’re looking to learn about grief experiences specific to COVID or seeking support in your journey of COVID loss. We leverage art, creativity, and prompts to foster conversation and introspection. Designed for adults across generations, the COVID Grief Gathering is your safe space when you need it.
Colorado Artists in Recovery – Winter Fundraiser 2023
Colorado Artists in Recovery (CAiR) utilizes recovery-oriented principles to provide a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment for people affected by substance use and mental health. Through our workshops and events we nurture their creative expression and help them create meaningful connection.
Join us for our organization’s annual fundraiser this December. Funds raised at this event help to fund the creativity workshops we offer at no cost to individuals who struggle with substance use disorders and mental health challenges. These workshops include art, music, dance, poetry, yoga, and meditation classes to help create a community of support for individuals who are choosing a life of recovery and healing.

About In the Weeds:
In the Weeds is committed to enhancing the well-being of industry professionals through various programs aimed at improving their physical, social, mental, and financial stability. Our existing programs include peer-led support groups, outdoor adventures such as raft trips, disc golf, paddleboarding, winter sports, and engaging book clubs. We are actively working to expand our current offerings and create new opportunities for our community.
The Program Manager position at In the Weeds is a multifaceted role that involves program planning, implementation, and monitoring. This includes coordinating projects, managing resources, identifying and mitigating potential issues and risks, tracking program progress, and engaging with stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves program marketing, data management, and community outreach.
Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, we are seeking individuals who possess excellent delegation skills, effective communication abilities, a passion for teamwork, and the capacity to provide a supportive environment for our members. The ideal candidate will have at least an Associate’s degree, a minimum of two years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, computer proficiency (Google Drive, spreadsheets, word processing), and a strong desire to lead and learn.
