QPR Training With CHOW

QPR is an awesome tool to have in your Mental Health toolbox, and we are so excited to share it with you during Mental Health Awareness Month!

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

QPR (Question, Persudae, Refer) is a first aid level suicide prevention training.

Just as CPR is there to help with a physical health crisis, QPR is there to help with a mental health crisis.

This is a nationally recognized training and offers 1 CEU credit.

During the training we will discuss:

  • myths and facts of suicide
  • warning signs of suicide
  • how to ask someone directly if they are thinking about suicide
  • how to partner with someone to get connected to resources
  • what resources are available

Join us for a VIRTUAL QPR training on Wednesday, May 22nd from 12:00pm -1:30pm MST:
