We are stoked to welcome June and all of its celebrations for Pride Month. Let’s take a look at events, initiatives and community gatherings taking place this June to support our food/beverage/hospitality community!

Denver PrideFest

Join us at Denver Pride as we commemorate our 50th anniversary through the ultimate celebration of love, diversity, and equality. This spectacular two-day festival unites communities from across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, bringing in an estimated attendance of over 550,000 people in 2023.

Experience the legacy as we kick off the weekend with the Pride 5K on Saturday, June 22, 2024, followed by the iconic two-day Denver PrideFest event at Civic Center Park boasting 250+ exhibitors, 30 food vendors, and captivating live performances. Sunday’s Coors Light PrideFest Parade flaunts colorful floats, marchers, music, and more, drawing over 100,000 spectators along 14 blocks of Colfax Avenue up to Civic Center Park, where day two celebrations continue. Come together with us to create an unforgettable experience as we honor 50 years of Denver Pride.

Safe Bars and CampRunamok

Since 2019, Safe Bars has been the proud training partner for one of the longest running trade education events in the heart of Bourbon Country–Camp Runamok. We developed a custom training program, anonymous reporting system, and advised on the code of ethics with Camp Runamok leadership to provide the celebrated bartender education program with thoughtful, inclusive, and actionable guidance for all attendees and staff.

Camp Runamok’s Founder, Lindsey Johnson, and Director of Community, Liz Porter, had this to say: “We’re proud to offer this free training for our guests to prepare them for this incredible week. This program is one of the keys to our longevity and success, and we are so grateful for the work that Safe Bars does not only at Camp Runamok but across the industry to keep everyone safe.”
