Host
Schaeffer Ware(he/him)
I entered the hospitality industry over 10 years ago and have both experienced and witnessed the affect the industry has on a person. Until joining CHOW I lacked a support system and didn’t have any tools to give to my peers. CHOW has given me the ability to better show up for myself and my peers. I strive to help provide spaces that are safe and supportive for industry folks as well as bring wellness-focused practices into my workplace to be a part of a healthier hospitality industry.

Brittany Teter(she/her/hers)
My name is Brittany Teter, but you can just call me Teter, and my Pronouns are She/Her/Hers. I was a server, cook, busser, dishwasher, and expediter in a variety of restaurants before moving into nonprofit work. My life’s work is to offer and hold safe spaces for anyone the best way and in any capacity as well as I can. CHOW changed my life when I heard “we are all recovering from something”, I am forever in recovery from self-harm and mental health issues that I battle daily.
