Michelle Carrica aka Socks (she/her)

I’m here to help, learn and grow through discussions about our shared experiences in this crazy industry we call hospitality. With 25+ years in the industry under my belt I’m so thankful to be part of a group encouraging positive reconsideration of how we view mental wellness within our community.

    Elizabeth Tilton
Founder & CEO Oyster Sunday & OS BENEFiTS

Elizabeth Tilton is the Founder + CEO of Oyster Sunday, a hospitality studio for independent F&B businesses—restaurants, bars, hotels, CPG brands, vineyards, farms, and beyond. Since launching in October 2019, Oyster Sunday has supported hundreds of hospitality businesses with concept development, financial strategy, project management, branding, marketing, human resources, operations, and training.

Since 2019, Oyster Sunday supported over 125 restaurant concepts across the US, opened 2023 restaurants in 10 cities, and onboarded restaurants across 12 states to the OS BENEFiTS platform. In July 2021, Elizabeth launched her second company, OS BENEFiTS, the first benefits marketplace for independent hospitality businesses. It supports teams with affordably priced preventive care, crisis insurance, and lifestyle services. OS BENEFiTS relaunched in September 2023 with an updated UX, vendors, and more.

Elizabeth’s hospitality career started in her hometown of New Orleans, where she spent years in the back of house at both Sucre and August, before eventually moving to NYC to join Momofuku. On the branding team, Elizabeth managed the public relations and marketing for Momofuku’s New York restaurants, market research for Momofuku’s expansion in the US, and major partnerships with companies such as The World Bank, Sweetgreen, Patagonia, and MAD in Copenhagen.

Prior to launching Oyster Sunday in 2019, Elizabeth was part of the original leadership team and the Head of Brand at W&P, a vertically integrated design and manufacturing company developing culinary products. She managed a department to strategize and execute the launch of 300+ products including products in partnerships with Williams-Sonoma, West Elm, Lucas Films + Food52.
