Meetings

Let’s talk about it!
CHOW group discussions are open to all – chef, servers, bussers, bartenders, owners, suppliers, farmers, writers, dishwashers, and industry veterans. Virtual meetings can be accessed from any location, please be aware of the time zones listed.
Our meetings rotate between a speaker format, where we have an industry member share their story; and a topic format, where we have a coach lead a discussion on an industry-relevant theme. There’s always time for questions, comments, and sharing. We know that’s where wellness and healing begin. Your attendance supports and motivates our passion for connection and we hope we can do the same in return. (See below for our recorded speakers.)

NEW! Mobility Class with Jessica Wilkinson, Saturdays at 11am MT Click here to see her YouTube channel! A word from Jessica: Hey all! My name is Jessica Wilkinson and I am a 26 year industry vet and personal trainer. My restaurant career ended in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic. In the last year I have been able to help people rediscover the power of functional movement. I am a firm believer in proper movement, flexibility and bodyweight exercise as a way of achieving pain free movement and injury prevention. I offer private sessions, in addition to Facebook live videos and a growing library of videos on my Youtube channel. I believe that everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies and truly hope that this program helps you to find that!

Normalize the Mental Health Conversation
Group discussions help put people at ease. They prevent disease, help people manage chronic disease, help us cope with stress or emotional or psychological challenges. Did you know that not talking to another person for one day is worse for your physical and mental health than smoking a pack of cigarettes a day! CHOW offers a community that knows what you’re going through and the unique challenges of our industry. Let’s talk about it.
